Such custom can be dated back to the time of Ancient Egypt when it was tradition for Egyptians to place a ring on the finger of his wife as a sign that he had confidence in her ability to take care of the household. Today however, the wedding ring’s symbolism has evolved to mean the everlasting love and perpetual bond between man and wife. The ring, as a circle, represents the eternal love a couple has for each other. Pretty romantic, huh?
