Photographer to GROOM!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to our first blog post! This write up is all about me the photographer getting married to and this is our ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS. I won’t just share the photos right away but I want to share the experience doing it.

So first of all we had a well planned engagement session with EIGHT PRODUCTIONS, it was planned for 2 hours (hahaha it was actually a last minute call) so yes we did a shoot with only our regular clothes that we could find in our closet. Everything was nothing fancy except for the shades that we bought for 50pesos ($1.00) and the Gown that we borrowed at BELLE VISTI (Marj’s aunt owns the place) located at R. Castillo St. Then we picked two spots to shoot the first was at the old airport at the hanger of AURO-TOUR where private planes and helicopters could be rented (aero-tour 09085191448, 09065003069 tell them I gave their number! hehehe). The next location was at YELLOW GATE (buda) where you could go zip lining, caving, and many more outdoor activities.

TIPS for the engagement session:

1. Get a master list – list down the theme, location, contact numbers, food and snacks to bring, make-up artist, wardrobe, etc.

2. Get everything before the shoot date and not on the date itself. Advice to the ladies don’t get mad if your future husbands won’t cooperate till the last minute “its normal” hehehe

3. Put all in one bag – prepare more than expected

4. Hydration – prepare to be tired and thirsty “its hard to be a model”

5. Don’t fight before the engagement shoot hahaha

6. Relax – let the photographer do the rest – don’t think that if your looking good or not just trust the photographer you hired he knows what he’s doing if he has the experience.
